THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THIS GREAT WORK WITH EDUCATORS ACROSS THE COUNTRY!
WHAT WE’VE ALREADY BUILT
A best-in-class Fellowship for activating educators and enabling innovation and continuous improvement in schools
Our Fellowship has proven impact. We have measured substantial increases in educator collective efficacy, which is the BEST leading indicator of student achievement.
We also develop educator collective capacity to lead change efforts. AND we improve the leadership growth and long-term retention of teachers. For more information about our proven impact, please visit our IMPACT page.
A national network of talented, deeply experienced TrueSchool Coaches
They have led deep change efforts in their own schools and now seek to increase their impact by reaching other educators within and across states
A learning community of more than 2,000 visionary educators across the country
They have participated in the TrueSchool Fellowship and continue to drive towards excellence for the 150,000+ students they reach every year. They are leaders in demonstrating that dramatic improvement in existing public schools and systems is possible. They are the key to ensuring ALL students achieve and thrive.
WHAT WE HAVE BEGUN, BUT NEED YOUR HELP
A new learning community specifically for systems leaders
Those leading at the state and district level seek to develop their capacity to effect systems-change. As thought partners and influencers, they are the key to scaling this work and its impact. In 2020, we are prototyping a new TrueSchool Systems Leader Fellowship with the idea of scale in 2021.
A TrueSchool Community Micro-Investment Platform
Micro-investments are small impact investments for schools participating in the TrueSchool Fellowship. Investment decisions are made entirely by educators and community members. They invest in the schools they believe will have the greatest impact for students. We are currently in development of a tool to facilitate this educator-led investment at scale.
An academic partnership for multi-year impact measurement
For ongoing research of the impact of this work in schools and systems over 3-5 years, we are working to secure an academic partnership.
Digital tools and storytelling to showcase schools achieving great results for students
This enables us to inspire and inform schools everywhere to replicate highly effective models and achieve even better results for students.
WITH YOUR SUPPORT, WE CAN ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING GOALS BY DECEMBER 2022
Improve schools and education systems for 200,000+ students
Only 35% of 4th graders in the United States are achieving proficiency in reading. Only 39% are achieving proficiency in math. These numbers are even worse for low-income students and students of color.
Address the challenges and inequity in our public education system tapping into the creative ideas and leadership of remarkable educators across the country. Help us expand the TrueSchool Fellowship to 10 states and activate 4,000 education leaders across the country who are developing excellent schools and outstanding education systems. Connect this powerful, national learning community to improve outcomes for students in the United States at scale.
Enable 300+ schools to create open-sourced TrueSchool Blueprints and share what works nationally and globally
Each TrueSchool Team creates Blueprint: a rigorous, human-centered, multi-year plan for dramatic improvement in achievement and equity for students at their school. These are open-sourced and shared broadly across our national network. They help to inform the work of other schools, even enabling schools who did not participate to replicate or adapt what’s worked in other schools.
Contribute to our TrueSchool Community Micro-Investment Fund and invest directly in the most transformational schools in the country
100% of these resources go directly to schools. All investment decisions are made by educators and community members.
Help us reach a critical mass of districts within our target states and support systems-change
Through multi-year partnerships, our districts enhance the creative problem-solving and leadership of educators, offer more teacher leadership opportunities, and increase levels of teacher satisfaction + retention. These are critical inputs to long-term systems improvement and systems-change.
Support the development of 100+ Local TrueSchool Coaches who are developing other leaders across the country
Local TrueSchool Coaches ensure the process and learnings of the Fellowship stick. They continue the work at the school and systems-level far beyond the Fellowship year, ensuring enduring impact for students is achieved.
Recognize and showcase 100+ bright spot schools and 500+ outstanding Fellows as thought-leaders
Make sure these leaders no longer work in isolation or silos, but now inspire and inform educators across states and the country.
