Students are not consistently engaged in the school and their learning experiences.

HOW MIGHT WE…

improve school culture (starting with 9th grade students) in order to teach students to make smart choices towards success by leveraging the energy and talents of all Pumas?

SOLUTION

CICS Northtown Academy team created a prototype that uses technology to facilitate teacher-parent and school-parent communication. It encourages teachers to reach out to students and incentivizes student engagement though Puma points. These measures together reinforce student culture through strong student leadership and clearer communication.
