PROBLEM
Teachers do not spend time collaborating to leverage the unique skills and insights of eachother to improve student instruction.
HOW MIGHT WE…
Develop stronger staff relationships in order to create a stable and communicative school community by leveraging all faculty and staff?
SOLUTION
The South Shore team worked on leveraging community partnerships and skilled teachers to incorporate fine arts into the core curriculum to enhance content comprehension. Their prototype uses a school-based app to foster communication between staff members in order to build connections and enhance the sense of community at school. The prototype was well-received and the team chose to leverage an existing app, Yammer, to facilitate staff communication.
