Parents are not fully empowered to become educational partners and have not fully engaged the newfound STEM education at Nicholson Stem Academy.

How might we empower parents to become educational partners and embrace shared vision in the establishment of a viable and sustainable STEM-literate culture to enhance student achievement?
SOLUTION
The Nicholson team worked to build a STEM Professional Learning Community among parents and staff, establishing STEM academic language in the curriculum, and planning events for parents to engage in learning about STEM.
