Technology is not used effectively in lesson plans to enable students to apply their technology proficiency in a way that demonstrates the ability to solve problems using tech.

Create an environment that fosters ingenuity and grit through the process of development and design?
SOLUTION
The George Westinghouse team rethought the use of technology in the classroom to better leverage the opportunity to build technology literacy and design skills. Their prototype implemented Edmodo, a teacher-student communication platform, to bridge teacher-student connections and incorporate technology into the classroom. Based on feedback during prototype testing, they adapted the use of Edmodo to maximize impact for students.
