Lack of student self-advocacy that inhibits learning.  

HOW MIGHT WE…

Place more responsibility on the students in order to promote self advocacy by leveraging technology?

SOLUTION

Educators review objectives before the unit, and students track their performance (for math, on a daily basis in Mastery Connect), then address misunderstandings with the teacher. The tracker is on paper and digital.
